Baba came in saw me playing and I asked him if he wanted to play, he just looked for a moment, made this face and said “okay, let me put the car in the garage first.” He comes in sits down and I teach him how to shoot, aim, turn around, etc. Lol it was the cutest thing, there are two toggles which are sometimes confusing and so he was just like going in circles while looking at the sky WHILE shooting at everything. I was like no baba, go straight like this, he looks at me and says ‘this is too confusing! I give up” haha. I remember every game console we had, baba would always come and play with us. He was really good at the Mario games. He loved seeing us together playing. When I have children insha’Allaah, I really don’t want to expose them to these things, but it would be nice if the whole family played together. Something so simple is truly a blessing. Eh. It meant a lot, just took me back to my childhood. It reminds me that baba is not just a parent, he’s truly my bff. He’s a child at heart. & no matter how old you get, you always want to be around your children. No matter what. May Allaah preserve him and bless him with Jannatul Firdouse. Ameen.
