Just yesterday I was 7 years old. Playing around contemplating which crayon to use, trying to memorize the small surahs. Tomorrow I might be in my 40’s; reminiscing about me being in my 20’s, reminiscing about me being 7 years old.
All this dunya is, is a complete facade. It’s almost an illusuion, it’s nearly a delusion. All we are is yesterday and today. Tomorrow is not even guaranteed. All we are are morsels of flesh awaiting our demise.
We know what we did yesterday. We know what we did today. But what will we do if tomorrow comes? Will our Eeman be lower? Will our patience increase? What will happen?
It all depends on what we do today. Tomorrow is dependent on what we make of today and what we learned from yesterday. Don’t let the days pass you by. Today will become 15 years ago one day and you’d regret it in agony for not making it more memorable.
